Verver, an acknowledged expert and thought leader on continuous controls monitoring and audit analytics, will co-present with Steve Henchock, principal, Deloitte & Touche LLP.
Their presentation, “The Future of Internal Audit: Strategic
Application of Audit Analytics,” will be from 10:00 a.m - 11:15 a.m.

Based on comprehensive

session will focus on audit analytics as an enabler in the broadening
role of internal audits. Topics to be covered include how current
technology is pushing the use of data analysis tools into earlier
stages of the audit cycle, allowing managers and team leaders to access
data and plan the audit based on initial analysis of risks. It also
will cover ways to leverage resources and automate procedures for
increased productivity and highly efficient processes for ongoing
assessment of risk management and controls effectiveness.
