Besides the training offered directly through the TexasACL User Group, there are several other options available. Care should be used in selecting hiring outside consultants as many people/organizations claim to know ACL, but often will over state their qualifications. Each of these options is known to offer quality ACL training and/or consulting.
ACL certified training.ACL is considered to be the gold standard in ACL training. They offer 14 different courses and ACDA certification. The courses are offered on a regular basis around the globe. Depending on the course, the courses cost between 1400-1700 USD.
ACL also provides consulting services and can help coordinate with the implemention of Continuous Monitoring programs.
ACL has a fully staffed and qualified team in their consulting practice.
CAATS TrainingDavid Coderre, the author of CAATS and Other BEAST, the Fraud Toolkit, GTAG #3, and other publications is one of the best known ACL users in the world. He, along with Porter Broyles, are the only two Super Users on the official ACL User Forum. In April 2008, he was a guest speaker at ACL's second annual user conference and has been invited back to speak at the 2009 Conference. Dave has several books on the subject of ACL and Internal Audit. Three new books (rewrites of the older books) are scheduled to be released between December 2008 and December 2009.
He offers several courses available and will provide consulting services.

Paul Picard is an experienced trainer with eight years of ACL and 25 years of training experience. During that time, including four years as a Master Trainer(2001-2005 training ACL trainers) he helped over 100 companies and government agencies. He offers only custom courses where the curriculum is based on your needs and if possible using your own data. His fees are $1,000 USD per day or $4,000 USD per week. (plus lodging, transportation and per diem of $90 USD)

PIA ConsultingMarc Garcia with PIA Consulting has garnered a strong reputation in the Texas Area for ACL training. PIA Consulting is an Austin based consulting firm that provides ACL training. PIA consulting offers two introductory courses, an intermediate course, and an advanced ACL course. These courses historically costs $750 per person for a two day class.
PIA Consulting will provide consulting services as well.
